This is an easy question to answer from the daily prompt. – What tattoo do you want and where would you put it?
First off, I have nothing against tattoos or other body art. To each their own. I consider myself an artist. I like finding new canvases. But I have no desire to get a tattoo. I was given this body with all its imperfections, and I’ll keep it that way because I’m fine with it and I like myself just the way I was made.
I’ve grown my hair long a few times. I’ve had a beard most of my life. My hair is starting to grey, well in some areas it’s grey and I have no desire to switch my hair color back. I have no desire to replace where it’s starting to thin a bit. I am what and who I am.
I’m also a believer in buyer beware. Age changes our bodies. So maybe the name of this tattoo shop is appropriately named for some choices. (Time Bomb Tattoos)
What tattoo do you want and where would you put it? – Not my type of question from the daily writing prompt but I’ll play along.
I have no tattoos. And I haven’t given a thought to getting one really. So lets see where the imagination takes me with this question.
I have nothing against tattoos. I think body art is very interesting. Just not my personal preference. At a young age I learned life changed very quickly and a tattoo is a permanent thing.
So being a senior now (age, not school) maybe something relevant to this stage of life. My motorcycle decades are behind me, so no biker references. I don’t need Mom and Dad’s names or my better half and kids to know they are the most important thing to me.
I’ve had a lifelong love with the sun and waves at the beach. So maybe something like this on my shoulder. Whoops, no good there. Surgical scars on both. Maybe on my upper chest to the left side.
What tattoo do you want and where would you put it? – So Ask the Daily Writing prompt.
I never really wanted a tattoo nor thought about where I’d put it. Might sound odd from someone who rode a bike for a few decades. Also some nights in my youth where I could have woken up with one.
Not that I have anything against it, just choose to use a different canvas for my artwork. I think there are some wonderful pieces on people’s bodies. There is also a lot of junk.
It’s said it’s never too late to change one’s mind so I’ll go with the flow of the question. It’s fun to think about what I’d get at this point in my life.
I don’t ride anymore so a biker tat isn’t in order.
Maybe something functional now that I’m getting older. How about “Return to Patti” for when I get lost? Nah, I’m not that old yet.
Maybe the title of one of my favorite songs “Simple Man” on my forearm? Possible
Hey, my chest hair is getting grey, maybe I’ll put a Santa Claus face and hat on the chest? Just kidding.
Maybe my family’s initials over my heart? This one has me thinking.
I’m still a car guy so maybe something like “Blacken Asphalt” or “There is no Replacement for Displacement” Nah, still for the younger me.
Maybe one of my many nicknames given to me. Nah, most of those are youth-inspired and I don’t need to explain some.
I don’t need to get our anniversary date or my better half’s birthday because I can still remember them so that tat is out.
I love the beach, maybe a palm tree and sunset behind it just off my shoulder? Possible.
Maybe a picture of a camera and my head behind it taking a picture. So that way when I’m holding the camera body with my right hand and the heavy lens with my left it will look like the two of us taking the shot. Nah, to complex
I got it. A beach chair, umbrella, and me laying on the sand and shore in the center of my back.
