What personal belongings do you hold most dear? – The daily writing prompts getting personal again.
Another question that made me think a bit. And not counting the gifts the kids or grandkids have made for me which I will always hold dear.
I’d say it’s my father’s cherry desk that I work at. Maybe my photographs and cameras. Of course, my Miata. An old baseball bat from my youth. A scarf of my mother’s. Cufflink with the USN and Medical insignias of my dad’s.
And if I get moving good and finish writing a book and completing some more artwork, I’m sure those will be close to my heart.
I do hold trinkets of my Newspaper career that are special to me.
