What traditions have you not kept that your parents had? – Now there is a question that makes you think back from the daily writing prompt.
The only one I can think of is that I didn’t follow my fathers career in the Navy.

What traditions have you not kept that your parents had? – A serious question from the Daily Writing prompt.
I didn’t follow my father’s career choice of the Navy. But I usually watch the Army-Navy game and of course, support the Midshipmen.
My mother was a very very giving person. I’m going to have to put in a better effort there to even things up before I leave this earth.
Oh, one more from Mom. She was the Green Thumb and Gardener and I have no touch in that area. Thankfully my better half does and keeps the homestead colorful and beautiful. I’m in charge of cutting everything green outside those boundaries.
I’m sure I might be missing some, but I do my best to reflect them in my family.
