What’s your favorite recipe? – Getting back to food again goes the daily writing prompt.
I liked my reply from last year to this question in the post called “Cook This” which is more of a recipe for life.
So, if I were to talk about food this year the answer would be anything I can throw on the grill. I’m not the cook in this home. But I do cook.
I do make a dish with Gemelli pasta. I grill up some prosciutto till it crisp up a bit and break it into small pieces. Then grill some yellow, orange and red peppers in oil. Also grill some onions and mushrooms in butter.
Then heat some garlic and butter, add the pasta for a few minutes, some Italian seasoning, adding some fresh shredded parmesan cheese, then mix in the grilled mushrooms, onions, peppers and prosciutto and serve with some more shredded parmesan cheese on top.
One of these days I’ll take a picture of it.
