Lesson 2

Share a lesson you wish you had learned earlier in life.

I still like my answer to this question from the daily writing prompt I called Lessons from last year. In that long list I left out one important item.

Learning early is key. I started late and pissed away my high school years, even though I graduated, and didn’t even complete the first year of college. So, while I quickly caught on by learning on the job and picking up skills, I felt behind..

But if I had started 4-5 years earlier, I wouldn’t have been playing catch-up at the beginning of my career.

Lessons

Share a lesson you wish you had learned earlier in life. – The daily writing prompt asked me to reach back early in the morning.

Wow, so many lessons I’ve learned and continue to learn. Just a few below.

  • The more time you spend loving the better life is.
  • It’s just a JOB, not life.
  • Cigarettes are not cool.
  • Follow your passions.
  • Happiness is of your choosing.
  • Have the confidence to share what you create.
  • Let go of anger.
  • Life goes by VERY FAST.
  • If you get a bright idea, go with it.
