Lots of them

What food would you say is your specialty? – The daily prompt asks.

Last year’s answer to this same question was pretty complete in a post titled Food Again. Filled with both meat and seafood.

But as always, I’ll add something because life teaches us new things all the time. Like I said in the previous post I like to grill. For some reason this summer’s burgers were spot on and tasted just great.

I was reminded of that as a new bag of charcoal came home from the store yesterday. I think I’ll fire up the grill on Sunday.

Food again

What food would you say is your specialty? – The daily writing prompt inquires again about one of the great joys in life. FOOD.

Being from Maryland any other answer than Maryland Blue Crabs is incorrect. But I also enjoy preparing and eating many foods. Not that I’m a chef by any means. My better half does a majority of the cooking here.

I’m not sure if the question is about eating or cooking though.

The grill is a lot of fun to do with a variety of foods. But steaks would be my specialty I guess. A nice 8-10 oz fillet. Shrimp and scallops on the grill are also fun.

If the specialty is what I like to eat, – cream of crab soup, crab dip, steamed crabs, crabcakes, softshell crabs, crab imperial, rockfish stuffed with crab imperial, stuffed shrimp, crab fingers.

I make a dish sometimes with pasta, prosciutto, peppers, onions, mushrooms, a few cheeses, and seasonings that I like a lot.

I’ve got to work on my bacon-wrapped scallops and shrimp though.

Muscles, Clams, Mahi Mahi, Cod, Rockfish, Shrimp, Lobster, Scallops
