Which is the best restaurant in your city? – Asks the daily writing prompt.

Answering a question like this could result in a lot of questions about my answer. For instance, if I select Kelsey’s Restaurant and Bar people might say that isn’t a high-end restaurant. It has great food, a comfortable atmosphere and good service. And I can go casually dressed.

Not that I mind dressing up for a really nice place but I’m not totally comfortable in nice clothes.

If I answer with my favorite local place that we go to the most it’s not going to appear on many lists of people around here for the best restaurant but Oscars, is it for us. We went there last night, and I had avocado egg rolls and a shrimp and bacon club sandwich with unsweet tea. Great meal, great service.

If I want baby back ribs I go to the Corner Stable on York Rd. Best, I’ve ever had.

Dumsers in Ocean City and Bruster’s Ellicott City for ice cream.

Okay, the best is probably Hudson Coastal Raw Bar & Grill for seafood and Grill 620 for steaks.
