Share a hobby you’ve picked up recently – what got you into it? – Asks the daily prompt.

When I retired a little over 2 years ago, I got back to a passion that I had in high school and that was photography.

Earlier this year I picked up a few paint brushes and did a few pieces and then stopped. I also had this desire to paint long ago, and I’d like to get back to spending some time with it this fall.

Almost the same with my woodworking but I do pick that up almost every week for a few minutes at least.

Blogging started about 12 years ago so that isn’t a recent hobby but only in the last 2-4 years have I put a lot more time into it.

My hobby this weekend will be cruising some back roads with hills and curves. That way I’ll have something to share at the Maryland Miata Club meeting this coming week.
