If you could start a new business right now, what would it be? – Asks the daily prompt.

Before I retired, I thought I would start a small business based around my hobbies. I quickly realized that is not what I wanted to do. I enjoy doing my creative arts for myself and sharing them with others.

There are a lot of things in running a business that people have no concept of. I did it once before with two partners and you wouldn’t believe the effort it takes and the time and energy you must put into it for it to have a chance to be successful.

My time now is split between my children and grandchildren, my better half, my friends and the many hobbies I enjoy.

There is one thing that I think about doing and that is if I were to be offered money for my work, I’d have them send it to one of the charities I like.
