A wonderful 2-day 1-night trip to the Eastern Shore of Maryland. I’m feeling refreshed and wet. Refreshed from getting away from home and some responsibilities was a nice break. The wet feeling came from 2 days of pretty steady and heavy rains.
The town of Easton is a fairly easy drive, about 90 minutes without major traffic from our home. I was wondering how I would feel after watching that ship destroy the Key Bridge. But driving over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge was easy on the way down.

We stayed at the Tidewater Inn. A nice hotel in the center of town which is key. Our second time I believe and I liked this time even more.
A mixture of steady and light rain on the drive to Easton on Tuesday which picked up a bit as we arrived. After a hearty breakfast at the Easton Diner, we checked in and walked some of the town, went to a gallery or two that were open, and some shops. I got to grab a few frames as we walked.

We had a great dinner at Hunters Taveran which was in the hotel. We had thought about going out but the weather changed that as you can see from the shot in our hotel room below. Talk about comfort on a cold rainy evening. A Caesar salad, fillet, and crabcake with some lemon sorbet for dessert. We sat by the fireplace for a bit before returning to the room.
