I was driving home last night through that monsoon that passed by and there was a ton of water on the roads. It reminded me of phrase “Don’t Drown, Go Around” and the videos of people stuck in floodwaters.

Random Thoughts of the Morning

• Last day with our granddaughter this week. It’s going to be quiet around here. And that always seems strange and kind of lonely the first day after she is back to school.
• Value is not found in things.
• Kids love to build forts. Which reminds me of the ones we used to build in the woods when I was a youngin.
• Pick your friends wisely. And if you can’t find the right ones go it alone till you do because picking the wrong ones isn’t good for you.
