Sea of Green

A Happy St Patrick’s Day to those who enjoy celebrating the wearing of the green. My mother liked St Patrick’s day a lot. She visited Ireland several times. I’m going to have to organize her photos from there someday. Maybe when I finish organizing my own.

Despite the temps feeling below freezing today, I hope to venture out and maybe catch some of the green spirit through my camera lens.

I also hope to spend part of the day interacting with the blogging community which I’ve been neglecting the past few days. I have some reading and viewing to catch up on.

I guess the luck of the green was with us yesterday and this morning. Just a few power hits for a few minutes each, some large branches crashing in the woods behind us and a lot more small ones to pick up in the yard. I hope everyone was also safe and sound from the storms that rolled east.

I think I’ll test my luck today at the new burrito place down the road. I know, it’s not Irish. I’ll go order some Reuben Egg Rolls from Oscars later.

Green

I had a few minutes on the way home and stopped for a few shots yesterday and everything came up green.

Be it the freshly cut hay.

Or the green tractor cutting it.

Or the Corvette that road by.

Now the tree line is green again.

Random Thoughts of the Morning

  • Got a call from someone reading my mind.
  • It’s going to be a good Thursday. I can feel it.
  • BG&E was messing with my power at 3am. I’m thinking they thought I wouldn’t notice.
  • I love a manual transmission.
  • Funny thing, I’m seeing some Trump signs disappear.

The wearing of the Green Day. Happy St. Patrick’s Day. And what better way to wear green than below?

I’ve completed my errands, it’s time to start prepping the evening meal. I’ve got the grill cleaned and am about to go fry up some bacon for the burgers later.

So far a beautiful day here in the Mid-Atlantic state of Maryland. I hope to spend some time outside before the temps drop for the next few days.

Things are starting to bloom and it’s that colorful time of year coming to life again. I can even feel myself coming alive again. So time to stand up and walk away from the computer and watch life bloom in real-time.
