With a high of about 90 degrees today I soaked in the heat and sun in preparation for this weekend’s cooldown.

But it’s a day to savor for many reasons. One is because each day is special. It might be filled with problems, challenges, and frustrations or overflowing with joy, fun, and solutions.

It could be a simple day, filled with chores, music, a cruise with the top down, and some photography.

I may gather with friends for dinner and a refreshing beverage.

It could be a momentous day. All I need to do is try.

Random Thoughts of the Day

• The evenings of restless sleep and short cycles are returning, unfortunately. I didn’t dream it would be this hard to escape the many years of night shifts.
• I have to do some planning for my granddaughter’s visit tomorrow. My hope is she looks back at these times here as some of the happiest days.
• I sense a possible night cruising this evening.
• Topped yesterday with today. I hope to do the same tomorrow.
