Flying Start

The blue skies have returned to central Maryland today and I’m loving it. Light lifts my spirits. So do these warming temps and breeze. It’s going to take a bit to dry out but were on the way.

One second, I feel the need to get a lot accomplished today. The next minute I’m fine with whatever I get done today. Now that is what I call balance.

To be in great spirits on a Monday morning is pretty much par for the course now. I’m trying to decide what hats I want to wear today. I was thinking about cooking being my better half has been doing all of it lately. But I think we might have dinner out. I’m going to put on my painter hat later, along with my photographer cap.

But I’m starting to get the itch for a real hat and wearing more than just the floppy beach hat or baseball caps.

Tomorrow is landscaping hat day.

Random Thoughts of the Day

  • It’s funny what you develop attachments to, over time.
  • I feel like I’m always calling in a prescription. Why can’t they just give me a year’s supply?
  • The leaves are changing too fast already.
  • Don’t hesitate to share it, nobody will see the greatness if it’s left in your drafts folder.
  • I should trim my beard before I’m mistaken for a member of ZZ TOP.
  • Could be less than a month till Civil War.
