I found another shot of this Mustang GTA I believe a 1967, but I could be wrong. This kind of car really gets my motor running. It kind of got me excited about attending our next car club meeting. The weather should be turning soon. Things will again be green, like my envy in owning a classic like this.

The cover will come off this weekend. A quick clean of the interior and if the forecast holds true there might be a temptation to put the top down during a ride on Monday or Tuesday.

Those first few days in March that sometimes warm into the 60s or low 70s that the motorcycles convertibles and hotrods suddenly appear in mass. Even if it’s a mid-weekday that the first nice weather hits you have tons of people calling in sick and taking to the roads. It’s great to see those big smiles coming in the opposite direction.

The first show I might do is Mikey and Mel’s in Maple Lawn on the 22nd of March. That seems to get bigger and bigger each year with monthly shows during the fair-weather months.

My personal motor is running well so I’m going to drop another mile on the treadmill and then get ready to attack the day.

Random Thoughts of the Morning – version 2

• I stepped outside. I was in shorts. I now know why they call it biting cold.
• I once worked with a friend who was from Russia. I wonder if I should call him and ask him to teach me the language?
• I believe I heard it was the first game of Spring Training for Major League Baseball today. Okay, now I can put that excitement behind me and get back to loving College Basketball. I’ll resume my baseball love when the season starts.
• Nothing prunes like Mother Nature.
