Weddings remind me of starts. I don’t attend many anymore. Unfortunately, we’re going to more ends than beginnings. The good old cycle of life. But back to STARTS. One of the mistakes Ive made is letting past starts or days affect the current day. Each one is a fresh opportunity to start over.

I’m starting to focus my starts in real time. Ignoring past failed attempts or building on what was a good start. Not spending time or energy thinking about what the next photo shoot might be or what to start painting or carving but to just focus on what I’m doing at that moment.

Be it finding a photo to start a new post like I did for this one. Instead of wondering where to start I just picked something I liked and sharing it and some thoughts were under way.

So, I hope you all are starting off this fine Thursday with the energy and direction you have for something you love and live for. If not, get busy finding it and enjoy it.

Random Thoughts of the Day

• I will not be deterred by the weather forecast. I may have to cover the car today, but I see a nice stretch of sunshine for the top-down rides.
• Feeling the rhythm of the music this morning. The whole body is moving. It’s getting the mind right.
• Don’t be busy with the wrong things.
• Count on yourself. It’s a winning bet. If you give it your best effort, your hand will be strong.
