The old saying goes “can you see the forest, for the trees.” I think this one is “can you see the forest through the fog?” But who cares, there is a pretty tree in the foreground. Sorry about the absence, been a rough few days with the schedule of life. But I’m back and hope to get moving here again today and through the weekend.
Well, the next day or two will be the last of the good color around the area I’m thinking. Lots of leaves have already fallen and what is left might make some good contrast. Might be a good signal to work on other areas of photography. It’s just that I get so caught up in the beauty of the season. I find myself looking more sometimes than shooting.
So the pumpkins are gone now. Another few weeks and the Christmas trees will be out for sale. Going to be a busy and special holiday season. I’ve spent a lot of years being caught up in pressure of the season. But the last several I’ve learned to enjoy greatly. And I think this year will be a far different look at the holiday than in the past and even more special, relaxed and appreciative for all the gifts I already have been given in life. For perspective change can have beneficial effects also. Choosing to look out the right window at things can bring peace to chaos.

The scene framed by the grid work of the windows is very nice!
