Aren’t they all. Busy that is. One appointment or task or place to be after another. Such is life and I’ll never again complain about life or being busy. I believe busy is good. I know it is for the mind. And when I apply it to exercise that is good also. Wish I did more of the later.
So I’ll post a few random shots from the weekend. That same weekend that was also very busy so I’m not thrilled with the limited selection. But in an effort to keep working hard on posting, sharing, photographing and writing each day. And by reading some others tips on blogging I’m learning to work and plan ahead more.
I have to learn to transition from work, chore and responsibility time to creative time better. Lots of time, I’m mixing my shooting between family trips or events. Hell if I didn’t do that I’d never get a chance to get some practice.
But the transition I think about is one where I’m relaxed. Where I can think and slow down and see things I usually pass at light speed. Or hear sounds or take the time to look at a young child’s expressions.
For when relaxed and open, you are going to find things in life you didn’t know were there or were a quick blur seldom taken into account.
Anything can be interesting. Hell I could spend half my life photographing sand and I’d always be able to find something new. But I can only do that when I’m at peace. When I allow myself to turn some parts of my life off.
I’m just glad I get the chance to spend a few minutes a day to think creatively. It’s a good contrast to the exacting computer work I do for the job that pays the bills. So I must continue this mission I’m on.
Well, lets see if I can do better on Tuesday or if I’m forced to pull images from the vault. Who knows, maybe I’ll try to paint some images with words? Life is full of options if your open to seeing them.
