Friends and family, health and happiness. It was a great weekend and I’m looking forward to the next one badly already. But I guess I wouldn’t enjoy them so much if it wasn’t for work. So as this fence is interlinked, so is our lives of events, places and people. And I’m thankful for all those I encounter and share joy with.
So as another work week begins I think and yearn to get back to these things that link my life together and make my life complete as they did this weekend.
Random Thoughts for Tuesday March 8th 2016
- There are few things that make me happier than when my children grow and succeed. Maybe bacon. But that’s about it.
- See what reality TV has created. We are about to become a parody of ourselves.
- Go TERP Nation. Yeah it’s almost March Madness time and we are ready. Well not really but they have a good as chance as any team. Both men’s and women’s teams.
- I think I just realized as I’ve grown older I’ve gotten far too mellow. Time to shake things up. I think I need to dance again. Maybe some air guitar. Hell if The Who can do it after 50 years, why can’t I. And I like The Who. But I guess I might have pushed my luck by singing the line “I hope I die before I get old” from the song My Generation a few too many times.
