Yep, I’m referring to the beach. It’s almost that time to get in the car and take a spin to the ocean. And this year I can’t wait to do it because I have a car that is a blast to drive again. When I stopped riding a motorcycle a few years back I really missed that open feeling it gives you. The driving experience itself and the ability to see so much more. It has been found again. I remember many day trips across da bridge.

Well I have a convertible now and that is even better. No helmet required. And if it does rain, I can put the top up. My better half is already excited about taking it to the eastern shore. I can’t imagine us not taking that ride in May.

So all we need is some good weather and an open weekend and we are gone.

I do miss the days when the kids were young and wanting to play games and go on rides. I still get a kick out of watching people on the boardwalk.

So beware Eastern shore. The rest of the state of Maryland is on their way.
