OK, I’ll be the first to say it. UNCLE. I have had enough of this rain. I’m starting to feel like the people in this raft below. You see I got this new convertible car now and I’d like to put the top down again, or at least before I have to scrap it. I’d also like not to track the outdoors inside every time I go out. I would like to not have to run to and from my car and every other destination in order to stay dry.
But I do appreciate what it does for all life and I will never curse the rain. But the occasional break from it would be nice. I feel like I moved to Seattle. Oops, correction, there are 5 other cities that get more rainy days than Seattle. Rochester and Buffalo are tied at the top at least according to one website. And never trust anything to just one website.
So may the rain disappear from our radar here in the northeast for a Mothers Day weekend. And speaking of Mothers day, I know some of you are missing your Mothers very much, like I am. But no matter where they are, their spirit and love shine on through us. So as your Mom may have taught you, respect yourself, respect others, help those less fortunate than yourselves and be thankful for the health you have. And by doing that you honor their memories. Oh yeah almost forgot one thing. Tell the ones you love, that you love them. And do it often.
