Float like a butterfly sting like a bee

Don’t know why I chose that title, it was the first thing that popped to mind after I downloaded photos and did the first edit through a few shots of my neighbor’s garden and the winged things in it. At first when they put a garden out front I was kind of apprehensive about how it would look. Actually it makes perfect sense for growing given its position and light.

But I have enjoyed it very much. For its bordered with flowers that are wonderful in their own right but also the butterflies it attracts each year. Sometimes I’ll stand there and watch for a bit. Such beauty in such a small package. Floating effortlessly from flower top to flower top and then garden to garden.

Then the sunflowers facing the street with the bumble bees buzzing about. Of course they grow a good bit food in between. But I’m glad they took the time to fill it in with beautiful flowers.

Hopefully tomorrow I’ll have time to get some more county shots. Life just got in the way with test and chores. Plus the job that pays the bills always take a huge chunk of time. But can’t live without a paycheck.
