Power outage

I mentioned a power outage in our area earlier yesterday, something that wears on us in wooded areas, so instead of getting pissed off at all I couldn’t do, I snapped a few shots in the home and when the BG&E guys came. Again my hats off to those guys for the work they do in the worst conditions. The first shot of the blinds surprised me because I really didn’t see the shot at all as I was walking out of the room. But fate saved me and I had a nasty back spasm that took me to the floor. I stayed there and stretched out. And when I looked up this is what I saw so I’ll take the spasm and the photo as my reward.

This team had my power on in a few hours. And with those whipping winds I’m surprised they could trim those limbs off the wires. And BG&E managers, don’t get your britches in a stir, these guys put the cones out when they got out of the truck.

So yeah its a pain when we lose power. But just sit back after you notified them and let them do their jobs. And a wave or sign of thanks I’m sure is always appreciated.

I was impressed to see this guy cross the creek and follow the deer trail up a steep hill.

Maybe its me, but I’m tired of watching Donald sign his name already.

Day one of physical therapy completed. Someone bring me the saw. Just kidding, I’m in very good hands because I’m feeling better than when I went in. Of course I might not have said that before the ice pack and stimulation treatments at the end. So 3 days a week for a while with I’m sure more challenging things than I did today. Hey, anything that allows me to get that Nikon, and Mazda gear shift and wheel back in my hands.

I thought I heard a doctor say that Bush Sr and Barbara B “are therapy for each other.” A kinder thing can’t be said about a lifelong couple. For if you can heal someone, that is a special gift.

How does one account for those who are unaccountable?

You know there is one thing I’m sure of. I will like retirement. I’m just not sure I’ll get there to enjoy it.

Go Terps.
