A memory of Sager Strong, this seemed to be the perfect title for this photo. Just saw the suit on the other side of the street walking away and almost didn’t even snap it. But I saw the couple coming towards him and the guy raising his hand so I did a quick shot. I was going to take several frames when a series of SUV’s crossed in front of me and it was gone. Such is life. Live each day a frame at a time.

This guys suit screams Craig Sager. Just look at the guys reaction walking towards him. Ironically Sager Suit looks to be in better shape than him.

Sorry if you were expecting a long story on cancer or his fight. I’m too busy making the best of my life today as he would want us all to do, but also continuing his fight when possible. And with the NBA playoffs about to begin maybe I’ll drop a few bucks and get one of his shirts.
Ah, the time of year when nature tries its best to turn my red car orange by blending in a fine shade of YELLOW. On the positive side what used to be a torturous season is now very tolerable and enjoyable. Yeah I sneeze once in a while and my eyes itch a bit but what the hell. It’s a great time to be out and about.
I did something stupid yesterday. Yeah I know you’re saying “what a surprise there” or “same old song and dance” or “NO?” or something kind, like “we all make mistakes.” But no this is simple and something that is close to home with a friend who fights skin cancer. I got sunburn on my arms, nose, ears and neck. And my stupidity was that I didn’t prepare and its my own fault. Getting too old to be making that mistake, as was evident in my better half’s reaction when she saw it this morning. Luckily it wasn’t real bad. I tan fairly easily if I do it in moderation. So just planting a thought for all of us. Watch that sun, but carefully.
