Having your family together after your children are grown is a special time. One not to be taken for granted. As my son and his wife left this morning, my wife and I had a tear in our eye. It’s wonderful to have the opportunity to be with family. It gives us a chance to show our love. A chance to laugh, play a game, enjoy a meal, talk and plan. It is pure joy.
As I age I savor every moment. I put it in a special memory area I hope to tap into when I need positive a mental charge or visual flashback. I’m not sure how I got to be so blessed. I guess part of it is not taking things like this for granted and having the proper appreciation for the events of life as they pass by. It is making the time and working hard to be able to have the time and funds to do something together. But the most important part is all the families support and love and thinking along the same lines that make it possible and I thankful to them for it.
Junior and Fredo have a lot in common. There dads, not so much except they are both doing illegal and unethical things. I just wish it was all fiction but it isn’t.
To few, give too much to protect so many for so little. Thank you, those in our armed services.
How is it that we got so far away from a country with impeccable values?
Each day has a high and low tide. Such as it is in life. Just continue to ride out those waves in between.
