I knew it was going to be a bad travel day. Tuesday before a Thursday Thanksgiving Day holiday always is bad. And of course it was, but I’m alive and after the ride home tonight, I’m done with going anyplace for a while. Well maybe a few local trips for some pictures but that will be limited to early mornings and no traffic time.
Holiday travel just isn’t my thing. I’m a home body. Yeah we pick up and visit and go to friends and relatives homes that are local but I don’t do out-of-state for holidays. To all those who are, leave extra time, pack extra patience and best of luck. Me, I’m going to seek out a calming place other than the highways like this one below.

I think the phrase “look how the mighty have fallen” is at work. And my guess is, it’s not over.
All I need is time. And watch what I can do.
