Simple Saturday

It another wonderful day outside for a change of pace. I’ve made use of the sun, caught a few rays while I knocked out some chores. Cut a lot of grass today and did my good deed for the weekend. Which leaves time to do more. But first a nice meal with my better half. And that was had at Shannon’s.

Don’t turn your back on the sea or a politician.

I’m wishing we were at the beach again. A completely different pace of life when we are there. I think that is what is so appealing to me. That and not having to squeeze a full-time job into the week. Maybe I’ll be picking up shells one day. But till then, it will be day trips and a few weeks of vacation there.

Will probably end up staying right where I am now which I love. If we can afford it.

Random Thoughts of the Day

Just saw a long-term forecast. I think WET would best describe it. Lets hope the weather service is wrong again.

I forgot to wear a hat while mowing today. I won’t forget the next time. I had one on but it was a nice one, went inside to get another and got a bottle of water but forgot the hat. Age strikes again. I’m going to have to start a checklist. Pants, Flip Flops, Hat. Good thing I have one and two down still.

Do you ever wonder about why people spend millions to get a job that pays $100-200K a year?

Why do I wait so late in the day to post?

I’m going to have to go to bed before I get hungry again.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
