A civil ride

Wow, I went out for a cruise today being it was so nice. Put the top down and enjoyed the rays for about an hour. Took the country roads even though rush hour was approaching. And for a change of pace nobody was acting the fool the whole time. Yeah I’m not ignorant enough to think it wasn’t going on somewhere but in my reality it wasn’t front and center.

I recently installed a car camcorder and its getting fun capturing some of the peoples, not so good moments. But the focus today was how nice it was. Tomorrow I should have time to actually shoot some. I took the cameras out today but was enjoying the ride so much that I just pulled up the old camera and snapped a few mobile frames over the windshield.

We fall back this weekend. Be careful of motion sickness.

This is going to be a great weekend. I can feel it in my bones.

Random Thoughts of the Day

At what point did a magnifying glass become part of my desk accessories?

It is my personal opinion that the University of Maryland made a mistake by keeping the football coach. And now late today they let the football coach go. Long as they get it right down there, that is all I hope for. But the view from fan land doesn’t look good for those Regents.

Sometimes when I’m sitting at my desk alone and I catch a glimpse of a picture of my parents I get crushed with emotion that they are gone.

When are we going to get real about elections and the money spent on them. Money is power and influence. And it corrupts governments unless the proper balance is kept and we have lost that balance.

I finally met a goal of post each day for a month. Hope to keep up the pace.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.

  1. I hope they publish each Regent’s vote on keeping Durkin. How could keeping him be a good idea? (yeah, I know, it’s about the $$$$) I am glad that Dr. Wallace Loh listened to his community and did the right thing.
