Random Thoughts of the Day

• Time to pick up the pastels again.
• I’ll be glad when it’s Wednesday night.
• What a year for Baltimore sports teams. Finishing the regular season in first place and into the playoffs. And while both didn’t make it to the Series or Super, they had great years with great thrills for the city and fans. Hats off to the Ravens team, coaches, and organization.
• CBS Sunday Morning did a very nice tribute to Charles Osgood yesterday.
• I tried something new. I recorded the 49ers/Lions game and watched it early this morning. I figure I saved 2 hours instead of watching it live by fast-forwarding through all the talk and commercials. I’ve done it with basketball but the time savings aren’t as good as they are for football.
