Cold Temps

How do you feel about cold weather? – Now why does the Daily Writing prompt want to go and ruin this fine morning and summer season with a question about cold weather?

I hate cold weather. Please note I’m leaving out all the explicatives I’d like to use in describing cold weather. Plus I woke in a foul mood this morning.

  • I despise the season of winter. I loathe the cold.
  • I hate wearing lots of clothes.
  • I can’t open the windows on the home or car.
  • I can’t go barefoot without freezing.
  • I can’t get warm in cold weather.
  • I can’t put my top down on the car in cold weather and enjoy it.
  • I can’t enjoy the beach.
  • Cold weather sometimes brings snow and I hate shoveling snow. I hate scraping ice off windshields or washing road salt off in the cold.
  • If the power goes out in the cold it’s a total bitch. In the summer it’s no problem.
  • I love the sun and cold means the sun isn’t around much. I can’t maintain a tan in the winter.
  • Yes, the air is crisp and clear. But it’s cold so I’m shivering, so I can’t appreciate the air I’m breathing because it’s making me colder.
  • I love being outside. When it’s above 60 degrees and warmer.
  • Cold weather can kiss my backside.
  • Sorry about the negativity so early. Have a good day.
And you think it’s cold where you are. Photo by my father James Hartley on Operation Deep Freeze

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
