Wasted days and wasted nights. An old song by Freddy Fender. I wasn’t thinking of the song so much as the words. I’ve wasted a few days and nights and I’m working on not letting that happen too often.
Today will not be one of them. Work on the home and yard took a good portion of the day but I did squeeze in a few shots. This squatter (Robin) is not happy with me disturbing the nest they built under my deck. Well, I’m not disturbing the nest but the shed is nearby and they still aren’t comfortable with my presence.
In addition to laying claim to the deck, he is also expanding to the shed. Guess the territory is being staked out for when the young are born. And given the attitude today that might be soon.
Lots of time left tonight to make good use of. So off I go.
Random Thoughts of the Day
- I sense a late night of progress ahead.
- A tootsie pop is a test of patience.
- I’ve gotten a lot of use out of a battery charger.
- There it is again, the urge to pick up the pace.
- Learning is fun when it’s applied to results. Back to the manual I go.
