It started with one. And then two and that is fine because cicada hornets leave people alone for the most part. Now I have several and it’s hard to walk out back so I’ll have to remedy this situation soon if more come. Rumor is the female’s sting is quite painful. I hope not to find out.
It was cloudy as hell yesterday when I shot these. I’ll get some sharp ones today with the sun out.
Below are 2 of 3 Boing V22 Osprey planes that few by. You should hear these monsters. I rarely see these going over my area. All I knew is something big was coming by so I grabbed the old Kodak I had lying around and got this before they cleared the trees. It was a nasty day out with minimal light and storms on the horizon.
Random Thoughts of the Day
- At least one of my friends is not having a good technology day. I suspect more are also but too busy to reach out.
- I’m ready for a great second half of the baseball season.
- My better half said something about pizza for dinner. I’m excited already.
- I see a lot of exercise this coming week. So I’m going to rest up today.
