Is there an age or year of life you would re-live? – Interesting thought from the Daily Writing prompt.
I thought for a while about this before starting to formulate an answer. Maybe 1964 or 1965, the years before my father passed. I would stick to him like glue finding everything I could about the man. A time when I was a carefree youth and loss/pain hadn’t touched my life yet.
A time when we were a family. A time when my Mom didn’t cry. A time when my sister smiled. A few minutes of youth that the world hadn’t exploded into chaos yet and the realities of life hadn’t smacked me in the face yet.
And it’s taken me almost 6 decades to learn how not to be such a live wire, to relax, and let life flow again. Better late than never.

Understandable why you would pick those years.
