What a wonderful few days weather-wise at the beginning of November. Feeling good and closing the year out strong. I’m developing the proper mindset to keep doing my best.

But first a goodbye to an old friend below. This little Kodak z812is captured a lot of history for this family and many trips. It was always with me. I’m going to pass it down to my granddaughter soon and work with her on taking pictures.

Photography Journey Day 5 Recap- 11/5/24

I’ve gotten some new equipment and the learning process has begun. With any new tool its important to learn the techniques that produce your best work. I’m a strong believer in RTFM. But I’ll begin with all the online videos. I’ll be experimenting with what settings I’m not already familiar with.

It’s got me excited about educating myself once again. I’ve just taken my first few shots and hope to head out around sunrise to see what I can capture with this new tool.
