Ah the smells of the Thanksgiving feast have started. The family will be together in a few hours. The Macy’s parade is starting. Normally I’d be getting off work around 7am and just going to sleep about now but retirement has freed me from that nonsense, and I get to enjoy another holiday the way most celebrated.
Photography Journey Day 27 Recap – 11/27/24
Another slow shooting day. But good progress on organization, editing and upload images. I found several old ones that inspired some new blogging ideas.
Lessons I learned yesterday.
- Even though I’m hungry as I can be I need to be disciplined enough to take a picture of the food first. Because some dishes are just beautiful to the sight as well as the pallet.
- You can’t get any new shots unless you pick up the camera. I only took 3 frames yesterday and it was so little I didn’t even download them yet.
- Watched a video on Macro photography. Never had a camera with a macro-option.
- Read some more of The Photographers Playbook. Reading is good for knowledge.
Just one of the many activities that kept me from my hobbies yesterday was the University of Maryland Basketball game. But it’s always good to take a break every so often. And it was a great game filled with many highlights.
