Capture Time

There are many reasons I love photography. But that aspect of capturing a point in time really is special.

Photography Journey Day 36 – 12/6/24

The sun was out, but I also heard that wind and stepping outside I felt very COLD. So to hell with that nonsense. Sorry, I know I should be out shooting but I have a severe dislike of this weather.

So, another series of shots is planned for another old camera later tonight. A Brownie Hawkeye Flash Model made between 1949 – 1961. Maybe I’ll shoot that other old Kodak and several Polaroids.

As I was doing some editing tonight, I ran across this street scene from Ellicott City. The location is in the photo. It’s not every day you can pull a rabbit (left) out of a photo.

Oh I’m longing for summer already and it’s still early December. AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH

The Canon printer has been humming along the last few days. And I hope to finish that pack of 8×10 off this evening.

More Random Thoughts of the Day

  • My mind says I could still run through a wall. Good thing the mind isn’t in total control anymore.
  • The best photo I’ve taken is the one I have yet to take. It could be tonight or tomorrow if I only pick up the camera.
  • Make someone happy and repeat.
  • One-man bands are better if they can play a lot of different instruments.
  • Speaking of bands, Aerosmith just doesn’t sound right unless the volume knob is at 10. Someone somewhere is asking “what is a volume knob”

Well as RUSH would say, it’s time to Roll The Bones.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
