Friday Follies

Fridays are still a lot of fun. People in general are in better spirits and optimistic about the coming weekend. I am also even though every day is a weekend now. The few shots in this post are from yesterday. Today was indoors and filled with logistics. Medical and car insurance to start with.

Shot this while waiting at the light at Frederick Road and Rt 40. I’m not sure if its a home or business to be honest. I do find the design and paint interesting. Photo by Mike Hartley

Good thing, a job isn’t in the way of all this progress. My better half started to remove the Thanksgiving decorations and began the process for the next holiday. I’m trying to figure out where the Xmas tree in the basement is going this year. I’ve been moving furniture around trying to maybe keep it out of the path of the young ones.

I think I found the right spot and will begin the assembly of the artificial tree. We get a real one for the upstairs sometime this coming week.

Random Thoughts of the Day

  • Some people are just angry at heart. Others are being taught to be angry and that is troubling.
  • It’s nice when friends thank you.
  • Plans are good, actions are better.
  • Started another woodworking project today, for my daughter.
  • It’s going to be a good night for creativity.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
