There are a good number of things we might like to change about our home, but this fireplace and brick isn’t one of them.
The decorations are coming together. We have yet to purchase the real tree for the living room, but I have the artificial one in the basement together with lights and some beads strung around it. Just ornaments to do. I have a few red ribbons to put by the windows in the front and a string of lights for the deck which I’ll do tomorrow.
I didn’t do much shooting today. The rain dampened my spirits. Despite the cold I hope to get out early tomorrow morning for an hour of shooting before the day’s chores.
Random Thoughts of the Day
- I believe the cost of healthcare just went up again with all the security the executives of these companies will be hiring.
- I know people who like the sun like to retire in Florida. I wonder if people who like rain want to retire in Seattle.
- Whoever invented the space heater, you have my appreciation.
- In the past I’ve let my lips get very chapped in the winter. I’m trying to turn that around this winter. I have multiple ChapSticks in my travel bag, my photo bag, my desk, my car and probably one or two in the coats.
- A day of errands but a great lunch with my better half.
