As I sit here contemplating the choices in front of me today, I’m very torn. Basically, the whole day is mine to do as I please except for making a few appointments. There are many chores that I could attended to here and at the same time I’d like to just get out and go for a ride and take some photos. But it would be hard for the weather to suck any worse than it is now.
I do want to watch the Maryland basketball game later and it’s always fun with the boys, being we’ve been rabid Terps fans for decades. I’m just not sure I’m in the right frame of mind. We will see how the day goes.
Right this minute, I feel like I’m paddling upstream. But I’m not going to reach today’s goals with this type of propulsion. So first I’ve got to expel some negative energy on the treadmill. The beard needs a trim and then a shower.
And then we will be ready to get production underway up in this beotch. No time to worry about what various body parts don’t feel good this morning. No time to waste hoping for what might have been yesterday or the day before. Purging negative thoughts and turning the volume up.
The first thing is to order some more paper and ink. I’m going to punish that Canon Pro-100 printer this month. Next, I think I’ll work on that pastel piece and think about where I want to treat myself for lunch. The weight is back to normal, and I can return to some normal meals.
I got to return to some blogging regularity. I’ve been slacking in that area lately. Even though I did spend a few hours yesterday, cleaning up my drafts folder which had grown to over 360 items. Yuck, some good ideas I need to work on with some trash also.
Well, I just received the sweetest picture of my granddaughter before she set on her 100th day of school. She started kindergarten this year. That sure turned my morning around. Onto bigger and better things. I’ll return later hopefully with some new images.
Random Thoughts of the Morning
- You won’t find me complaining about the heat this summer after this freezing winter.
- I like the song “I Can’t Explain” by The Who. I love their songs.
- I’m pissed off at the weather forecast for Mon-Fri next week. Highs in the low 30s and then falls to the 20s for highs, and then teens at night. I’m through with this nonsense.
- I’m starting to use the photos on my office walls to make me feel better when I’m down. They do bring a smile to my face.
