High on the job

It’s a good morning so far. Up and exercising, which is a fine way to start the day. I’m staying on terra firma though. My days of climbing ladders are behind me. I was never crazy about heights anyway.

Heads up. Photo by Mike Hartley

Boy does that sunshine feel good coming through the window. I’ll wait till later to let the sun get a bit higher and warm things up a bit to head outside.

The home is mine this morning, so we have some music permeating the airwaves with the exception of the dust particles being blown off the speakers.

Random Thoughts of the Morning

  • A photo doesn’t need a frame to be good.
  • The song (Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd) is one of my favorites.
  • I wonder if people realize the impact of cutting government funding to charities does, especially to the poorest states. I read an interesting article from the Urban Institute that might be of interest on the topic.
  • The camera batteries are charged and so are mine.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
