I admired my mom, her advice and examples have helped me through life. I have my lifetime partner and better half to make up that missing part and thankfully much more. I’ve been seeking my wife’s advice for many decades now, and she certainly has my admiration. I even get the bonus of getting advice when I wasn’t really looking for it.

I admire close friends and look to them for advice from time to time.

The list of professionals I admire and took advice from is huge, and I’m a lucky man to have worked so closely with so many talented people. In most cases these same people had very good views of life also and have remained close friend’s decades after working together ended.

I admire my father and his service. I didn’t get a chance to get much advice from him. Though from time to time in my life I think some things have come through.
