My car pulled over for these. The flowers were pretty much a match for the color of the car. Driving in the country is so much fun. Apart from those who can’t stay on their side of the road, which seems to be increasingly difficult for a lot of people.

I’ll be out riding later tonight. Photo by Mike Hartley

June has flown by, but it’s been a lot of fun. We didn’t get away as much, but we did manage a nice trip and time with the children and grandchildren is priceless. But still a day and a half to make good use of before we get into July.

I do need to get reading more and I think I’ll get on that task now. I have two books I’d like to finish this coming week. Whoops I almost forgot a few woodworking projects I also need to finish up. I should really get an assistant.

Time to move the workbench outside so I don’t have the cleanup I do inside.

Random Thoughts of the Day

  • Not the day to be pushing a mower but nature doesn’t pause its growth. I don’t mind, it’s good exercise.
  • Grilling out sounds like a good idea later. Might be between the raindrops though.
  • I’m not a fan of Verizon. And they are about to catch my wrath tomorrow morning.
  • People are a trip. I’m just not on their roadmap.
  • This bill before the Senate and Congress is not one big. beautiful bill. Unless you call death a beautiful thing. Less healthcare for the poor, higher healthcare cost for the middle class and tax breaks for the rich while adding debt to our children and grandchildren’s generations.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
