Usually, I’ll do a few blog posts in the morning and at least before noon. Today has been different. I sat down this morning with a bit of writer’s block. That hasn’t afflicted me in a while. Then I got busy with other appointments and low and behold only a few hours till sunset.

Better late than never. I like keeping my daily streak going. Oddly enough it was the daily writing prompt that brought me to a stop. I’ll post the answer to that question later.

Spent part of the day getting a quote on some home improvement work and materials. Something that has been needed for a while and now we have those funds for it.

This evening, I hope to put in some time, providing our power stays on with that thunder I hear outside now, on practicing my pastel drawing and maybe some reading. I shot some wildlife earlier today but I’m not going to download it till after tomorrows shooting because I don’t believe there is much there. That was one big buck that I got a few shots of but the sun hadn’t come up yet and I didn’t switch the ISO so I’m not hopeful.

Here we are at the last moments of June. I’m proud I made better use of this month. I’m disappointed because I could do better. So, I’m going to finish strong tonight or just get a good jump on July.
