I keep trying to get a handle on life, but it keeps illuding me at times. Some doors are locked. Some are stuck. But I keep trying to find the handle each day that opens to something to make me smile.

All kinds of concerns today. A grandchild under the weather. Many decisions and plans to be made. Not feeling my best this morning. Lots of chores facing me but haven’t had any seat time in the car the last few days.

We need to hit the store, but I hate shopping. I miss my kids, but they are busy. I’d love to spend the day photographing but I have week’s worth of landscaping ahead of me.

Life is about choices, and I’ve got a lot to make. But that is the norm in life, it just seems to get overwhelming at times.

I guess I’ll start today by getting that electrician list together and measuring the gravel area so I can add pavers. And clean the firepit and grill for later use today. Then move the woodworking tools outside. Sounds like a good start and fine choice.
