It’s still a novelty to me, each morning thinking of all the people going off to work. And I get to be at home setting my own schedule. Well, mostly my own schedule. I would never have scheduled a dentist’s appointment for my first crown if it was all my choice.

I got an early start and was outside at daylight working in the yard. Stopped that activity because the feel like temp is almost 100 and it’s 10am.

Despite this I will venture out for some photos today. I’ve got to gas up both cars and finish some caulking later. Down to my last two tubes of that. Hope that is enough to finish.

Hopefully I’ll get a chance to work on a few carving and painting projects also.

Random Thoughts of the Day

• I can see clearly now that I’ve cleaned my glasses.
• It feels good to be utilizing my printer again.
• If I’m a little warm inside during the summer, even with the AC on, I just step outside and then the inside feels so much better.
• I think the phrase “the good old days” will be more prevalent in the future. But it will be speaking about recent years, not the far past.
• Nope, not going to watch or listen to lies later today.
