Morning success, Afternoon anticipation

Got out and put the top down before daylight and went for a ride. I was hoping to catch a sunrise, but the rains are on their way this morning, so it was pretty muted. It was warm and sticky. That’s what 100% humidity is when it’s not raining. You feel like it is, but nothing is falling from the sky yet.

The few morning chores are complete and I’m going to get some lunch and then work on my hobbies the rest of the day and evening. Maybe an opportunity to photograph some bad weather this afternoon.

If I were a betting man, I’d say there is a better than average chance we are going to lose power later so if I’m absent the rest of the day you will have at least one suspect. And as always, thanks to the linemen out there after the storms restoring normalcy.

Random Music Thoughts of the Day

  • Geddy, Alex and Neil had the most incredible timing between them.
  • Simple Man is a great song.
  • Which version of Come Together – Beatles – Aerosmith – Godsmack
  • Music makes life a lot better.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
