The more I anticipate, the more I get excited about things. As long as I’m not being negative in my anticipation.

I’ve been watching young children recently and their joy and excitement that comes with anticipation of something good happening has brought me back to that feeling. So why not carry it forward.

Today I’m anticipating feedback on a recent project from a few people. I’m anticipating rains which is great because I need some computer time to catch up with all the shooting I’ve done.

The printer just started and I’m anticipating the first 8×10 print of the day coming out of it. In a half hour I’m anticipating a hot shower.

The anticipation of picking up a paint brush for the first time in a few weeks is exciting. And I’m hearing the workroom tools calling me in anticipation of creating some sawdust.
