In an hour I’ll be entertaining my 7-year-old granddaughter for a good portion of the day. I wish she could transfer some of that endless energy she has to her grandparents. Because I’m tired before starting this day. Couldn’t sleep last night more than a few hours.

It’s going to be a nice day outside so we will probably be out and about a bit. I know she mentioned setting up the splashpad and sprinkler. We went to her neighborhood pool yesterday and she loves the water.

Right now, I have to get the printer hooked up to the other computer so she can select photos from the beach that she wants for her room. Oh crap, I forgot she wanted pancakes for breakfast. I better go and make sure we have the ingredients for them. I know we have the chocolate chips she likes in them.

So let me get up and get ready for the whirlwind to hit the house.

Food Review

We were lucky enough to stop by the Cockeysville location of the Pappas Restaurant this past weekend. I’d been to the Parkville location before and I loved their crabcakes, so I had them again. This is becoming one of my favorite places for crabcakes. Service was great and the stuffed mushrooms were the best I’ve had.

• Note to Canada. We think Trump is an idiot and bad for our relationship.

• It’s cool enough at night now to fire up the firepit.
