We went to the Ellicott City Music Festival yesterday for a few hours early in the 8-hour event. The first 4 hours were great, but we aren’t spring chickens anymore and our legs were tired. Plus, I still had grass to cut at home before nightfall. The music was good and the crowds seemed pleased and enjoying themselves.

We had a great time and the crowds just kept growing from the time we got there at 12:15 till we left shortly after 4pm. It was nice to see such a mixture of ages present.

The weather was great while we were there. A slight breeze and sunny. The clouds did move in as we were leaving though but it stayed dry I believe.

It seemed to be a very successful event for the town from my perspective. I hope they don’t take a hiatus again.

I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
