We bid goodbye to another summer this week but I’m not giving up the ship. I’m looking forward to the return of the Indian Summer that always pays this Mid-Atlantic area a visit.

A rather plain door above but the pairing with the kayak on the porch I couldn’t pass up.

I always like doors that should say Watch Your Step.

I thought this post might benefit from some color. My props to the painter.

Some fronts are so Welcoming they even put out a sign saying so.

The windows with waterfowl and fish and the words Local Home say it all.

Not my style but I’ll take the waterfront view it had.

Another 2 for 1 with an old phone booth from the appearance.

This door was a little plain, so I spruced it up with the flowers planted out front.

Now that is a nice patio entrance.

Photog prerogative on this shot. I didn’t care for the door but I liked everything outside of it and I did catch a small corner of the door, so I hope it passes the mustard here.

I hope the attendance in Fellowship Hall is strong. We all could use some.
